Grant Award Program
Proceeds from Victorian Quilters Inc. annual raffle funds Victorian Quilters Inc. projects, including the Grants Progam.
Grants are available to current Individual Members and Member Groups to further the education of quilt making throughout the state.
The Grant will be awarded to an individual quilter or quilting group for an approved event or endeavor or for further study and training in the area of patchwork and quilting.
It is expected that the beneficiary of the award would share with fellow quilters the skills, knowledge and expertise they may gain – thereby further developing and raising the levels of skill and creativity in patchwork and quilting generally.
Applications for Grants may be made at any time.

Grant Award Conditions
Applicants must be a current financial Individual Member or Member Group of Victorian Quilters Inc. a qualifying period of twelve (12) months membership is required from the date of application. NB: belonging to a group that is a Member Group of Victorian Quilters Inc. does not entitle an individual applicant to apply. Individual applicants must be Individual Members of Victorian Quilters Inc.
Applications may be made at any time. Application forms are available here, or can be accessed via the menu under the Services-Grant tab.
Victorian Quilters Inc. reserves the right not to award the grant in the event that applicants do not meet the requirements outlined & the standards expected.
Applications should include answers to all sections on the application form; be detailed & thoroughly explain where the grant money will be directed and describe the nature of the enterprise.
Applicants must supply full details as requested on the Grant Application form.
Grant monies MUST be used within 18 months of receipt of the award & may be held by Victorian Quilters Inc. in trust until required.
Recipients of this award(s) will in return, provide Victorian Quilters Inc. within a reasonable time after the event, with:
- An article with photographs to be published in the Victorian Quilters magazine.
- An exhibition of work done by the individual or group to be displayed at Showcase.
