Very Snuggly Quilts – Victorian Quilters Inc.
Victorian Quilters Inc concentrate on delivering quilts to children with chronic life-threatening illnesses who are patients at the Royal Children’s Hospital, through the Victorian Quilters Very Snuggly Quilt Auxiliary. Oz Comfort Quilts, under the direction of Jan MacFadyen OAM, distributes donations to many different organizations such as Palliative Care Services, children in foster care, disadvantaged families, victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse as well as running big quilt drives following natural disasters.
Oz Comfort Quilts donates approximately 900 to 1,000 quilts a year as well as crocheted/knitted blankets, Santa Sacks (16 x 20 inches, or 20 x 24 inches), drawstring bags (12 x 14 inches), soap pouches, teddy bears with hand knitted jumpers, beanies, knitted socks, knitted jackets, booties, blankets and tiny teddies for premmies and newborns. They can place any sized quilt and are based at Ferntree Gully.

Quilts of Valour Australia aims to award quilts to Veterans, Service Personnel of the Australian Defence Force and our Allies as well as immediate family of Veterans and Defence Personnel who have passed. These awards are in recognition of their Service, Sacrifice and Valour for their country.
